Youth is a disease from which we all recover.-Dorothy Fulheim

When we were at Disney Land we saw a bunch (I mean dozens and dozens) of kids wearing ginormous amounts of beads. This wasn't something we'd seen at home so we looked it up. Apparently it's a primarily so cal thing (though I'm sure it'll spread) called Kandi Kids. I guess it's linked with the Rave and EMO sub cultures. I found this pic on Google images.

Pretty much they look like a bunch of idiots. Which means it's officially happened. I am now that old person looking at young people and saying "I don't understand these new fashions. They just look stupid."

"Come on I'm sure nothing I wore when I was young was that lame looking." Is exactly what these kids will be saying when they're my age.

LOL Just think though how boring life would be without such subcultures and their fads to tilt your head and scrunch your eyebrows at.. ;)

At least the beads look like they'd stay on the body, unlike the baggy pants craze I hope passes soon.

Don't worry, I'm 15 but I don't think those beads are extremely attractive either :)
