Ya know how when you're walking down a sidewalk or hallway and you meet someone else going the other direction you instinctively move to the right? Do you think if you went to England or Australia or somewhere else where they drive on the left you'd wind up having sidewalk confusion.

I've wondered that, myself.
And then I try to pass my kids in the hall and they screw it up... because they don't drive yet and really haven't grasped the concept.
I never noticed when we were in Japan if folks changed walk sides. I'm sitting here trying to remember. What I do know is I have the worst time with that passing bit now and I'm going to start blameing it on being in Japan for so long. /nod
