Stroking My Already Over Inflated Ego

On the way to the store

Me: (Singing).....And when the stars fall I will lie awake. You're my shooting star.*

Fiona: (clapping) Yaaaaay!

Of coarse she reacted the same way when I sang Twinkle twinkle so it might me more enthusiasm for singing in general and less of an appreciation for my astounding talent.

Maybe it's the mere mention of stars in your musical selections?

Try Madonna's "Lucky Star" and see what reaction you get.

I hadn't thought of that. I can try the star spangled banner too. I'll report back if I get real results.

I think it's wonderful that you fill her life with music. We remember things to music better then almost anything. I think smell is more associative tho.

Point is, she's going to grow up and have songs that remind her of you. :)

Just remember what they are and then program her ring tones accordingly when she's a teen
