PSA
Hey for those of you with small kids. I found out yesterday that they've recalled more cribs in the last two years than ever before. I also found out that they recalled Fiona's last January. Today they recalled her crib again for a much more serious reason (hello 4 deaths yikes!). The company that manufactures her crib will provide a free kit to fix the two issues so that's good. I thought I'd mention it in case any of you have cribs on the list. It would obviously be a very bad thing for a child to be hurt because the parent didn't have information they needed.

Thanks. Our crib is not the brand being recalled but it does have a drop down side that we have NEVER used. It is not plastic. I think I can tighten it up OR Patrick can nail it closed.

Have you seen the pic of the stuffed baby dummy demonstrating how a child can suffocate? I found it very disturbing even though it was a dummy.
*sheesh*
Roses- I know! I was thrilled to find out I'd been letting my daughter sleep in a death trap for two years (yikes). I haven't seen that pic. I think I'll take your word for it that it's disturbing.
TK- I'm sure it'll be fine. I don't expect Fiona will be sleeping in it next time we're down there but P&A/A&L will probably appreciate the effort.
i probably do, but since my "baby" is 6...i'll just check for the grandkids...
Honestly tho, I don't panic at things like this. Considering all the things our parents had to deal with as babys and they lived...
Course I say that as a parent who has been blessed with nothing she couldn't handle...
